Tired of fighting your steering? Tired of the constant swaying back and forth? We have the fix for you! Introducing our 95-00 (Old Body Style ONLY) Steering Shafts. Eliminate that worn out rag joint with a U-joint. Simply unbolt your lower steering shaft and put this one in its place for an all new driving experience.
The Intermediate Steering Shaft is the piece that slips into the lower unit. Usually these are not damaged, but can become worn. Can be selected to add in the drop down menu.
NOTE - Black Shafts are a Black Oxide Coating for a rust preventative. It is more of a flat black.
***Will NOT fit Dorman aftermarket intermediate half*** (Check options on drop down menu to get intermediate shaft if needed!!!!)

Lower Half Steering Shaft
After replacing both upper and lower control arms, 1" drop springs, new shocks, sway bar bushings and a front end alignment, I was still not happy with how the handle. Was like steering a boat! Ordered a new Lower Steering Shaft from CM on a Moday, got it on Wed and installed it on that Friday. (Please don't tell my Boss) That Saturday, the wife and I cruised to Tulsa from the Joplin, MO. area. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The 1996 Chevy C1500 rides like a go-cart now. Thanks CM!

Was nice and easy to install. Took me maybe 20 mins, have never taken the old one out before either. Made the steering way more responsive, would recommend to anyone who hasent done this modification.
