Tired of fighting your steering? Tired of the constant swaying back and forth? We have the fix for you! Introducing our 95-00 (Old Body Style ONLY) Steering Shafts. Eliminate that worn out rag joint with a U-joint. Simply unbolt your lower steering shaft and put this one in its place for an all new driving experience.
The Intermediate Steering Shaft is the piece that slips into the lower unit. Usually these are not damaged, but can become worn. Can be selected to add in the drop down menu.
NOTE - Black Shafts are a Black Oxide Coating for a rust preventative. It is more of a flat black.
***Will NOT fit Dorman aftermarket intermediate half*** (Check options on drop down menu to get intermediate shaft if needed!!!!)

Great Product
Fast shipping, fit perfectly, easy install. Slide the upper half off the rag joint side and place the new part in its place. I did cherokee steering shaft swap out of a junk yard , worked well for 10 years, joints started to wear. Figured it was time to do it right and wish I did this swap a long time ago.

This is the best upgrade I have done to my '96 k1500 Suburban in quite a while! If you have sloppy steering because of your rag joint, this is your solution.

An essential upgrade
This completely renewed the steering in my 99 suburban. It only has 130k miles but there was so much play in the steering, making it sketchy at highway speeds. Now i have solid steering feel without play, and can drive straight without any adjustments. I would recommend some thread locker on the set screw as the factory shaft did, to ensure it doesnt come loose over time.
