Tired of fighting your steering? Tired of the constant swaying back and forth? We have the fix for you! Introducing our 95-00 (Old Body Style ONLY) Steering Shafts. Eliminate that worn out rag joint with a U-joint. Simply unbolt your lower steering shaft and put this one in its place for an all new driving experience.
The Intermediate Steering Shaft is the piece that slips into the lower unit. Usually these are not damaged, but can become worn. Can be selected to add in the drop down menu.
NOTE - Black Shafts are a Black Oxide Coating for a rust preventative. It is more of a flat black.
***Will NOT fit Dorman aftermarket intermediate half*** (Check options on drop down menu to get intermediate shaft if needed!!!!)

Installation and Use
Ordered this lower steering shaft to replace the worn out rag joint on my 99 Suburban. Arrived quickly and packed well. Very well machined, you can tell this is a high quality part right out of the box. Installation was easy, hardest part was just getting the old rag joint out. Huge improvement on the loose steering that seems to plague these older trucks. Next up is to replace the steering box, but a very big improvement. Highly recommend this upgrade to your GMT400 Chevy!

100% improvement over stock
I bought this instead of replacing my worn-out rag joint and the difference is night and day. The install took about 10 minutes to complete, with 3 sockets and 1 allen wrench. I cannot believe the improvement in steering and handling that this upgrade has made. I'm looking at Cunningham Machine first for my LS swapped OBS from now on.
