Tired of fighting your steering? Tired of the constant swaying back and forth? We have the fix for you! Introducing our 95-00 (Old Body Style ONLY) Steering Shafts. Eliminate that worn out rag joint with a U-joint. Simply unbolt your lower steering shaft and put this one in its place for an all new driving experience.
The Intermediate Steering Shaft is the piece that slips into the lower unit. Usually these are not damaged, but can become worn. Can be selected to add in the drop down menu.
NOTE - Black Shafts are a Black Oxide Coating for a rust preventative. It is more of a flat black.

Night and day different!
Customer service is excellent, only disappointment is I wish I would’ve done this sooner! Makes a huge difference and no play in the steering in my 99’ OBS C2500, gonna have to order one for my 96’ K3500 now!

Best Cure for OBS steering slop
Replacing the worn out rag joint with this steering shaft was the best cure for the steering slop in my Suburban. The control is a lot better and I dont feel like im a 12 pack deep driving down the highway.

I installed the Cunningham steering’ shaft in my 99 k2500 suburban. Installation was quite simple . Took me about 45 minutes. First test drive after the install I felt a slight improvement but I was only driver around town. Where I was really impressed was once I got on the highway, the drift and fighting the wheel was improved drastically. I highly recommend this shaft for OBS vehicles and once I replace the steering box Im sure the rest of the steering slop will be gone. A+ product!

1995-2000 Chevrolet/GMC truck steering shaft and intermediate shaft
I am very happy with this product. I am glad to be rid of the rag joint. My steering wheel is centered nicely and the on-center feel while driving is great. I also have a Red Head steering gears quick ratio steering box. My truck is a 1997 GMC K1500. Definitely take the new intermediate shaft if yours has been in there for a while. It makes the job a lot easier.
