Tired of fighting your steering? Tired of the constant swaying back and forth? We have the fix for you! Introducing our 95-00 (Old Body Style ONLY) Steering Shafts. Eliminate that worn out rag joint with a U-joint. Simply unbolt your lower steering shaft and put this one in its place for an all new driving experience.
The Intermediate Steering Shaft is the piece that slips into the lower unit. Usually these are not damaged, but can become worn. Can be selected to add in the drop down menu.
NOTE - Black Shafts are a Black Oxide Coating for a rust preventative. It is more of a flat black.
***Will NOT fit Dorman aftermarket intermediate half*** (Check options on drop down menu to get intermediate shaft if needed!!!!)

Makes it feel like a go kart!
If you're looking for a cushy ride be aware this does increase NVH. But it makes my 1996 feel like a go kart and i love it.

Took all the slop out of a brand new rag joint
After 2 new rebuilt gears, and had replaced the rag joint with a new aftermarket joint! Finally fixed the dlop in my steering

Great lower steering shaft,fits nicely when changing out using their entire shaft(upper,mid,& lower).Quality of material is excellent & by how it fits seems to be the best replacement out there.

Awesome Product!
A definite must for your obs! Don’t fool around with these YouTube videos telling you to buy a jeep shaft for install. These are straight up bolt on makes the truck super safe and really a night and day difference with peace of mind knowing it’s actually MADE for your vehicle.

Works perfect
First and foremost a big thanks to companies making quality items to keep these trucks on the road for years to come. This took, front to back, maybe 35 mins to install and 10 of that was adjusting the steering box. Good looking parts, fit great, quality is top notch. Truck drives like new again.

Can't find a better shaft
I'm not a mechanic and it was installed in less than 30 min. Definitely under 20 minutes if I had to do it again. Made a big difference in the steering. Money well spent!

The steering shaft is a game changer for your GMT 400 I thought I had to replace my whole front end, but after throwing in the steering shaft, my steering is nice and tight would highly recommend to anybody with an OBS Chevy cheap easy to install par
