Eliminate that worn out rag joint with a U-joint. Simply unbolt your steering shaft and put this one in its place for an all new driving experience.
Also fit the 1994-1996 Impala SS cars.
NOTE - Black Shafts are a Black Oxide Coating for a rust preventative. It is more of a flat black. Some maybe powder coated black depending on how we get material in.

Awesome upgrade
Great fit. Oxide finish even matches header paint. This was one of the first steps in correcting my 89 c3500s death trap status. Original rag joint was jellied from 3 decades of ignored oil leaks, and the upper cv joint thing was more loose and sloppy than my ex. Couldn’t even find a replacement option for the upper joint other than retrofitting some Jeep parts or something. For a guy that has almost zero time to work on his own projects, you can’t beat this piece. It took about 95% of the free play out of my steering. I could turn the wheel almost 90 degrees with no reaction before. Now it feels better than some new trucks I’ve driven, and I haven’t even done the ball joints or bushings yet.
