Wolff Engineering M109SS Lower Steering Column Cartridge Bearing for Saginaw columns with 2" jacket and 1" shaft. This cartridge bearing is designed around a precision, sealed deep-groove radial ball bearing. The cartridge body is constructed of acetal and is precisely toleranced to insure a snug fit into the column jacket. The center hub is CNC turned from stainless steel and has four stainless steel set screws that engage the steering shaft. This arrangement produces a precise fit with zero radial play. The outer retaining collar is constructed of acetal and features three stainless steel dog-point set screws that lock the entire assembly in place. The entire assembly is made from corrosion resistant materials.

The M109SS column bearing arrives as a kit and includes the following items:

Cartridge Bearing Assembly

Retaining Collar

Hex Key wrenches for installation

Emery Cloth, 150 grit

Detailed Instructions

The M109SS Cartridge bearing is an excellent upgrade over current OEM design offerings and will reduce the amount of play in the steering system.

The M109SS is compatible with the following vehicles. There will likely be more vehicles added to this list as I continue my research into compatibility. Please look at the included picture of the OEM design at the top of this page before ordering. If your OEM bearing looks like the one shown in the picture and has a 1" shaft, then the M109SS will serve as a direct replacement for it.
