    Fit moog problem solver

Posted by Luke on Nov 23rd 2023

I have moog problem solver tie rod ends for 99 k2500 sub. One sleeve went on practically by hand. The other I had to put in a vice to crank it on, then back it off for whatever reason. Once cranked on they were very nice. Easy to adjust and solid. Not sure why the one was being so difficult to install, but worked out well.

Tie rod sleeves. 99 3/4 suburban.

Good heavy parts. Both inner tie rods and one outer tie rod was really hard to screw into the sleeve. Had to remove tie rods and put them in a vice, screw the sleeve on a little at a time backing it back out with oil. Nothing stripped. When I removed the sleeve to check threads they all looked good. I think the thread pattern was just slightly off. Stock tie rods. They’re on now and work as they should. Nice clean look. 99 3/4 suburban.

The powder coating was chipped in different spots and they were a spot that the coating was thin. I know they would eventually get chipped, but if I paid for the coating I would expect it to be delivered without damage. Other than that they are good pieces.
